The iPad 3G is unlocked and u can use it with any carrier in malaysia, provided that they have a micr-sim card, which is not offered in malaysia as far as I am aware. But you can physically cut your mini-sim (the sim card that goes in your phone) to make it a micro-sim

@James, you can get a prepaid card for your itunes to login into your itunes or apps store. Get free apps from there or you can contact us to Jailbreak your ipad. you just cut your card, sure work or as some professional to cut it!
